Mattresses: If a mattress exchange, or comfort layer exchange to another firmness or composition, is not for you, worry not. As much as we hate to lose you from the Nest Bedding family, we also understand that sometimes our product may not be the right fit for your needs. Nest Bedding offers free returns on mattresses after the 30th night of your 365-night trial. Returns initiated before the 30th night may result in a disposal fee.

Nest Bedding requires that you use a properly supportive foundation for your new Nest Bedding mattress. The use of flexible foundation, bowed slat foundation and traditional box foundations will void all return, exchange and warranty privileges.

Exterior Damage Policy: Any exterior damage to the mattress, including but not limited to stains, rips, tears, and the presence of bedbugs, will void all return privileges, as these are considered external conditions that are unrelated to comfort.

*Nest Bedding luxury mattresses purchased before October 21st, 2021 are eligible for returns for comfort reasons within 100 nights of the delivery date of that particular mattress.

**The Puffin mattress (formerly known as the BKB), the Lark mattress, and the Stork mattress (formerly known as the Certified Organic Crib Mattress) are excluded from the 365 Night Sleep Trial. These kids and baby mattresses must be returned within 30 days of receiving the product.

Lifetime Renewal Exchange (LRE): A one-time layer exchange program that can be redeemed for a comfort layer within the Sparrow, Owl, Starling, or Finch mattress. Swap to another firmness level of latex or foam and save yourself the trouble of ordering an entirely new mattress elsewhere. In the event a full mattress exchange is completed, the one-time free LRE is considered fulfilled and cannot be used again.

*The LRE is eligible on select mattresses purchased after October 21st, 2021

Bedding: Bedding items, including eligible pillows, sheets, blankets, comforters, protectors, toppers, pillowcases, and duvet covers, may be returned within 30 days of the delivery date. These items must be returned in their original Nest Bedding packaging and in new condition. While the first exchange of any eligible bedding item is complimentary, returns for a refund are subject to a flat-rate $10 return shipping fee. This return fee will be waived in the event the product arrives damaged or defective. Any shipping charges incurred at the time of purchase are non-refundable and will not be included in the final refund amount.

Furniture, Foundations & Adjustable Bases: All furniture, foundation, and adjustable base sales are final and not eligible for return once received, as these items are not considered comfort products. However, they are covered under Nest Bedding’s warranty and defect policy and are eligible for support in the event of manufacturer defects.

Home & Health Products: Sleep accessories, including eligible sleep masks, essential oils, aromatherapy diffusers, laundry care products, apparel, pet beds, and similar small goods, may be returned within 30 days of the delivery date. These items must be returned in their original packaging. While the first exchange of any eligible home & health item is complimentary, returns for a refund are subject to a flat-rate $10 return shipping fee. This return fee will be waived in the event the product arrives damaged or defective. Any shipping charges incurred at the time of purchase are non-refundable and will not be included in the final refund amount.

Third-Party Brand Collaborations: In addition to Nest Bedding designs, we also offer select bedding products from brand partners. These items are shipped directly from the brand, and Nest Bedding Customer Service may handle return requests on your behalf, unless otherwise noted on the product page return policy.

Please note that third-party products may carry different return windows, fees, or warranty policies than Nest Bedding items. For full details, refer to the Returns & Warranty section on the specific product page before purchasing.

What if I'd like to return my Nest Bedding Mattress before my 30th day?
We require all early returns to be processed with a disposal fee for that product (tax excluded). To continue offering free shipping on all Nest Bedding mattresses, we require a disposal fee only in the event of an early return.
