How do I initiate a comfort exchange?

Nest Bedding mattresses are eligible for a mattress exchange to a new model after our required 30-day adjustment period and within 365 days of the delivery date of your original mattress. A mattress exchange is available once per mattress and within the 365-night trial. If you purchased a mattress with a Lifetime Renewal Exchange, a free comfort exchange is available once per mattress and may be exchanged outside of your 365-night trial. Once the LRE has been used, a new comfort layer may be purchased separately outside of your sleep trial.

Nest Bedding requires that you use a properly supportive foundation for your new Nest Bedding mattress. The use of flexible foundation, bowed slat foundation and traditional box foundations will void all return, exchange and warranty privlages.

Once approved to exchange, you have 30 days to complete the process. After 30 days, a new request to exchange must be submitted. Exchange requests will not be approved if the mattress is damaged or destroyed.

Do I need to purchase my exchange?

Yes, if switching to an entirely new mattress. You may purchase the exchange mattress with free shipping to the contiguous United States. An exchange purchase can be initiated by contacting Nest Bedding Customer Service at customerservice@nestbedding.com, by visiting our website at www.nestbedding.com, or through a Nest Bedding showroom near you.

Certain Nest Bedding mattresses have zippered tops, allowing the internal comfort layer to be exchanged and thus saving our planet from yet another mattress in our overfilled landfills. Comfort layer exchanges (on applicable mattresses with zipper tops) are free (unless otherwise noted) and may be purchased separately outside of your sleep trial. Shipping is free to the contiguous United States.

What do I do with my original mattress?

Once you receive the exchange mattress, you may initiate the return of your first mattress for a full refund of the original item’s purchase price or cost.

What happens to my 365 night trial?

The 365 Night Trial on mattresses does not extend or shorten once an exchange is received. Your 365 Night Trial will expire at 365 days from the day you received your mattress.

*Nest Bedding luxury mattresses purchased before October 21st, 2021 are eligible for returns for comfort reasons within 100 nights of the delivery date of that particular mattress.

How does my Lifetime Renewal Exchange work?

Qualifying Nest Bedding mattresses (Sparrow, Owl, Starling, or Finch) are designed with a zipper to access comfort layers and come with the Lifetime Renewal Exchange or LRE. The LRE is a one-time free layer exchange to either the same comfort layer or another comfort layer of your choosing. If you purchased a mattress with a Lifetime Renewal Exchange, a free comfort exchange is available once per mattress and may be exchanged inside or outside your 365-night trial. Once the LRE has been used, a new comfort layer may be purchased separately on our website or if you contact our customer service. If you would like to use your LRE, please contact customerservice@nestbedding.com.

How do I exchange my Nest Bedding pillow?

Most Nest Bedding pillows are designed with a zippered fill pouch so you can adjust the firmness yourself and customize the loft to your sleep style. If you've already tried removing or adding fill and feel that a different type of pillow would better suit your needs, you may request an exchange within thirty (30) nights of receiving your pillow.

One (1) pillow exchange per order is provided at no cost. Exchanges are encouraged when comfort adjustments alone do not resolve fit or support concerns. To qualify for an exchange, the pillow must be in new, sanitary, and resaleable condition, free from stains, odors, laundering, damage, or contamination, and in original Nest Bedding packaging. Pillows that do not meet these condition requirements are not eligible for return or refund. If you're unsure which pillow might work better for you, our team is happy to help guide you before you make a new selection.

How do I exchange my bedding from Nest Bedding?

We want you to feel comfortable with your Nest Bedding purchase. If your bedding item isn’t the perfect fit, you're welcome to exchange it within thirty (30) nights of the delivery date. How to return my Nest Bedding mattress?

Most of our mattresses are designed so that we can decrease as much waste in the world as possible. If you are on one of our adjustable mattresses, we hope that you've had a chance to exchange to an alternative firmness before deciding to return.

Thank you for giving your Nest Bedding mattress a fair chance and trying out the best for at least 30 nights. To initiate a return, please reach out to our Customer Service team through the form here, visit the store you purchased from, or you can email us directly at customerservice@nestbedding.com. We will request some basic information to help diagnose your sleep issues, and often we will request pictures of your mattress, pictures of the legal tag, and the base that supports it.

Nest Bedding requires that you use a properly supportive foundation for your new Nest Bedding mattress. The use of flexible foundation, bowed slat foundation, solid slats spaced larger than 4 inches, and traditional box foundations will void all return, exchange, and warranty privileges.

Once approved for a return, you have 30 days to complete the process. After 30 days, return privileges are forfeited.

Once approved for return, we will provide you with a donation, disposal or pick-up option. The mattress must be in good condition to be eligible for return (e.g., no stains, tears or soiling odors). We'll verify it is clean and returnable from the pictures that we've requested. Nest Bedding works with charitable organizations and 3rd party disposal services. Available return methods may vary and may be subject to additional fees. Alternatively, you may donate to the charitable organization of your choosing upon approval from our Nest Bedding team. We hope that your returned mattress can go to a good cause, as we want to keep as many mattresses out of our landfills as possible.

Once you receive your donation receipt or proof of disposal, we'll issue a refund to your original payment method.

All white glove delivery, set-up service fees, or shipping fees once concluded with your order are considered a non-refundable charge and will be excluded from your final refund.

*Exterior Damage Policy: Any exterior damage to the mattress, including but not limited to stains, rips, tears, and the presence of bedbugs, will void all return privileges, as these are considered external conditions that are unrelated to comfort.

Tell me about the 365-night sleep trial for my mattress.

Your new Nest Bedding mattress comes with our industry leading 365-night sleep trial. The trial begins on the date you receive your mattress and cannot be extended or paused. Please note that our mattress return policy allows for one mattress return per customer, per calendar year from the date of purchase.

Children's mattresses, including the Puffin mattress (formerly known as the BKB) and the Lark mattress, are excluded from the 365 Night Sleep Trial. These kids' and baby mattresses must be returned within thirty (30) nights of receiving the product.

Do I need to try my mattress out before considering a return?

Your body needs time to adjust to a new mattress, just like your feet need time to adjust to new shoes, so expect some aches and pains in the process. We ask that you give your mattress a try for at least thirty (30) nights before initiating a return.

But if you are feeling uncomfortable, please reach out to us so we can help you sleep more peacefully. Sleeping well isn't just about a new bed, and we've been doing this for a very long time. Our Expert Nestologists are standing by to help you.

Returns initiated on unboxed mattresses, prior to the 30th night, will incur a disposal fee.

How long do I have to complete my return?

Once we've approved your return request, you have thirty (30) days to complete the return. Beyond 30 days, return privileges are forfeited.

Things to consider prior to requesting a return.

Mattresses left compressed in their packaging for over thirty (30) days may not expand properly. Mattresses compressed for over 30 days are at risk of warranty infringement. Please expand your mattress within 30 days of delivery.

Are your law labels intact, legible, and affixed to the mattress?

Is your mattress on the right kind of foundation? Nest Bedding mattresses are designed to work with mostly all foundations, except those that flex when pressure is applied. Traditional box springs and flexible slat systems change the intended feel of your mattress, which is why we require a solid foundation with slats every four (4) inches at a maximum.

How do I return my Nest Bedding pillow?

Our Nest Bedding pillows come with a thirty (30) night trial, to allow you time to customize your pillow for proper support and comfort.

Many Nest Bedding pillows feature adjustable fill. Before initiating a return, we recommend adjusting the fill to better suit your sleep style. Simply unzip the outer cover and inner pouch to remove some fill for a softer, lower loft, or message us to request extra fill if you need more support.

If you’ve already tried customizing your pillow and still find it’s not the right fit, pillows are eligible for return within 30 nights of the delivery date. To qualify for a return, the pillow must be in new, sanitary, and resaleable condition, free from stains, odors, laundering, damage, or contamination, and in original Nest Bedding packaging. Pillows that do not meet these condition requirements are not eligible for return or refund.

If you are requesting a refund rather than an exchange, a flat-rate $10 return shipping fee will apply. The return shipping fee will be waived if the item is determined by Nest Bedding to have originally arrived damaged or defective. Any shipping fees incurred during the original purchase are non-refundable and will not be included in the final refund amount.

Nest Bedding offers affordable, comfortable, and supportive pet beds—handmade in the USA and crafted with eco-friendly materials. We love our pets and know they come in all shapes and sizes, so we recommend referencing each bed’s size guide before completing your purchase to ensure the best fit.

If you happen to purchase the incorrect size, pet beds are eligible for return within 30 days of delivery. To qualify for a return, the item must be unused, unlaundered, free from pet hair, orders, stains, damage, or other signs of use, and returned in its original Nest Bedding packaging. If you are requesting a refund rather than an exchange, a flat-rate $10 return shipping fee will be deducted from the refund amount. This fee is waived if Nest Bedding determines the product is damaged or defective upon arrival.

Original shipping charges paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable and will not be included in the refund.

Cancellations
 

How do I cancel my order?

To cancel your Nest Bedding order, we ask that you message our team directly within 24 hours of placing your order. If your order has already shipped or is in transit, it may be subject to additional return charges (please see "What if my order has already shipped?"). To initiate cancellation, please message us at customerservice@nestbedding.com or by calling your store of purchase.

Once we've confirmed the cancellation of your order and verified that all goods have been returned to us, we'll process a refund to your original payment method. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the funds to process fully back to your original payment method.

What if my order has already shipped?

Early cancellations of shipped/in-transit goods will incur a $100* return to sender fee for mattresses and furniture, and a $10* return to sender fee for smaller goods. The fee to return will be deducted from the refund of an order's value once received.

*Additional return to sender fees may apply for orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada.

Warranties
 

Nest Bedding mattress warranty eligibility.

Nest Bedding provides a Limited Lifetime Mattress Warranty against certain manufacturing defects for as long as the original purchaser owns the mattress, under normal residential use and conditions.

This warranty is intended to cover manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, and does not cover changes resulting from extended use, normal material softening, or natural material fatigue (please see "Warranty coverage" below for more information).

Nest Bedding requires that you use a properly supportive foundation for your new Nest Bedding mattress. The use of a flexible foundation, bowed-slat foundation, or traditional box foundation will void all return, exchange, and warranty privileges.

In the event a covered defect is confirmed, Nest Bedding will, at its option, repair or replace the mattress with a current comparable model and size.

What does this warranty cover?

The Nest Bedding Limited Lifetime Mattress Warranty covers all defects as defined below for as long as you own your Nest Bedding mattress.

Covered Defects
Your Nest Bedding mattress is built with craftsmanship and high-quality materials. The following are considered defects and are covered by this warranty, provided they occur during normal use and are not a result of factors outlined in the "What Voids The Warranty" section:

Qualifying body impressions or sagging, as defined and evaluated under the Indentation & Sagging – Limited Lifetime Coverage section of this warranty. Manufacturing defects in the mattress cover or zipper, including zipper failure, fabric defects, or construction flaws, excluding damage caused by misuse, improper handling, improper care, forceful operation, or use inconsistent with product instructions. Physical flaws in materials or workmanship, such as seam unraveling, stitching defects, or fabric tearing, provided such issues are not the result of misuse, improper or inadequate support, external force, or normal wear and tear. Manufacturing defects in coil systems, including coils or wires that are loose, broken, detached, collapsed, or protruding through the mattress fabric, or other structural failures of the coil unit that occur during normal residential use and conditions.

What is considered normal wear & tear?

All mattresses experience gradual changes over time as materials respond to regular use and normal loading. These changes are expected and do not constitute manufacturing defects.

Not Covered (Normal Wear & Tear)
The following conditions are considered normal wear and tear and are not covered under this Limited Lifetime Warranty:

Changes in comfort preference or perceived firmness over time. Minor or moderate body impressions that do not meet the warranty qualification thresholds. Normal foam softening or compression resulting from regular use. Material fatigue or performance changes that occur naturally with age and use. Changes in feel, firmness, comfort, or support that occur without a clear structural or manufacturing failure of the coil system. Normal wear and tear, as described above, is not covered under this warranty.

What will void the warranty?

The longevity and performance of your Nest Bedding mattress depend on proper use and care. The following conditions and actions will void this warranty:

Improper Use: The primary purpose of your mattress is for sleeping, resting, and laying on. Any use outside of this primary purpose is considered misuse.

Stains and Damages: Stains, including but not limited to body oils, sweat, and other liquids, can degrade materials and compromise the integrity of the mattress. Rips, tears, burns, and other physical damage will also void the warranty. Not expanding the mattress within thirty (30) days of receiving further voids the warranty.

Improper Foundation: Using the mattress with old box springs (5+ years) without solid support, slatted wood or metal foundations with slats more than 4″ apart, or other inadequate bases will void the warranty.

Storage & Handling: Deformations in the mattress due to improper storage or handling.

Other Exclusions: Normal wear and tear, slight cosmetic flaws, growth of mold due to improper storage, indents less than two (2) inches, personal preferences about mattress attributes, mattresses acquired used, resold, or not in possession of the original owner, purchases from non-authorized Nest Bedding distributors, physical damage by the owner, allergies to fabrics or materials, and damage from animals, rodents, or children.

How do I initiate a warranty claim?

To submit a claim relating to a defect in your Nest Bedding mattress, please contact us here, at customerservice@nestbedding.com or by the store of purchase, and give us the following:

The order number and/or the first and last name of who placed the order.
A brief description of what is going on with the mattress.
A photo and/or short video documenting the issue you are experiencing.

Our solution to your warranty claim.

In the event that we in our sole discretion determine that your Defect is legitimate as per this Limited Warranty, your sole remedy will be a repair or replacement of your mattress with a comparable size and model mattress. In the event that your size and/or model is discontinued, we will provide the most comparable Nest Bedding mattress product available as a replacement at our sole discretion.

Nest Bedding pillow warranty eligibility.

All Nest Bedding–branded pillows are covered by a Two (2) Year Limited Warranty from the date of delivery.

This limited warranty applies to the original purchaser of the Nest Bedding pillow from Nest Bedding stores, online, or authorized retailers. This Limited Warranty is not transferable to any subsequent owners of such pillow.

This Limited Warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal residential use, including defects in zipper or zipper enclosures, defects in fill materials that impair intended performance, stitching or seam defects not caused by misuse or improper care.

This Limited Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, changes in comfort preference, firmness, or loft, damage caused by misuse, abuse, or improper handling, damage resulting from improper washing, drying, or care, stains, odors, discoloration, or contamination.

Staining or discoloration alone does not constitute a manufacturing defect.

Third-Party Furniture, Foundations & Adjustable Bases
Certain furniture, foundations, and adjustable bases sold by Nest Bedding are manufactured by third-party brands and are covered exclusively by the manufacturer’s warranty. Applicable warranty terms are disclosed on the product page at the time of purchase.

Depending on the product and manufacturer requirements, Nest Bedding may assist with initiating a warranty claim or may refer the customer directly to the manufacturer for resolution.

What is the length of my warranty?
Warranty coverage varies by product and manufacturer. Current warranty periods include:

Woodland Platform – 5-year limited warranty
Bi-Fold Platform Foundation – Limited lifetime warranty
Arcadian Bed Frame – 3-year limited warranty
Rustic Platform – 3-year limited warranty
Rustic Nightstand – 3-year limited warranty
10-Piece Kids Play Couch – 1-year limited warranty
Reverie Adjustable Power Base R310T™ LP – 20-year limited warranty
Reverie Adjustable Power Base R410 LP™ – 20-year limited warranty
Harmony Adjustable Base – 10-year limited warranty
Balance Adjustable Base – 10-year limited warranty

Warranty terms, coverage details, and exclusions are governed by the applicable manufacturer warranty and may differ by model.

Warranty claims on furniture damaged in transit.

Customers are required to inspect all furniture, foundations, and adjustable bases promptly upon delivery.

Any visible damage, missing components, or delivery-related issues must be reported to Nest Bedding within five (5) business days of delivery, or within five (5) business days of discovery during reasonable unpacking and inspection, whichever occurs first.

Failure to report delivery-related damage within this timeframe will result in the order being deemed accepted as delivered, and the sale will be treated as final. Damage reported outside the required notification period, or damage resulting from use, assembly, installation, or handling after delivery, is not considered shipping damage and is not eligible for return, replacement, or refund.

Nest Bedding may request photographs of the product, packaging, and delivery condition to evaluate damage claims and coordinate with the carrier or manufacturer where applicable.

How to Make a Warranty Claim
To initiate a warranty claim for furniture, foundations, or adjustable bases, please contact Nest Bedding Customer Service at customerservice@nestbedding.com or reach out to the Nest Bedding retail store where the purchase was made.

Proof of purchase and supporting photographs or documentation may be required. Warranty claims are reviewed in accordance with the applicable warranty terms and may require coordination with the manufacturer.

Nest Bedding pet bed warranty eligibility.

All Nest Bedding pet beds are covered by a two (2) year Limited Warranty against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal residential use.

This limited warranty applies to the original purchaser of the Nest Bedding pet bed from Nest Bedding stores, online, or authorized retailers. This Limited Warranty is not transferable to any subsequent owners of such pet bed.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by pets, including chewing, scratching, digging, or nesting behavior. Accidents, stains, odors, or contamination. Improper use, misuse, or abuse. Normal wear and tear resulting from regular use.

Warranty coverage is limited to defects in materials or workmanship and does not extend to cosmetic changes or damage resulting from pet activity.
