You can get support from a medium to soft mattress as long as the materials are dense and the base conforms to your body.
When NOT to get a topper
- Your mattress is sagging and worn out. Putting a topper on a sagging or worn out mattress will just make it a softer saggy and worn out mattress. Many consumers believe adding the extra foam will fill in the valley or body impression, but all the topper does is follow the contour of the body impression, leaving you with a lack of proper support.
