The Why Behind Nest Bedding Mattresses

Why do we carry the mattresses we do at Nest Bedding? Another way to look at it is why don't we carry a lot of the brands you can find at most stores?

If you go to many of the stores in the San Francisco Bay area, such as Mattress Discounters, Mancini's and Sleep Train, or some of the major department stores like Macy's, you can find all the major brands, such as Tempurpedic, Simmons, Serta, Sealy and many of the other memory foam and spring mattresses. 

But at Nest Bedding, we do our research just like you do. Going to many of the review sites on the internet, you will find consistently poor to low ratings for most of the major brands. We care about our business and about our customers and choose to carry products which we can proudly present to our customers which are a great value and will provide proper support and rest for many years.

If we chose to carry the name brand mattresses, which we could easily have done, we would be making larger markups and more profits. But at what cost? Knowing these manufacturers make their mattresses to last 5-7 years, we could not in good conscience represent these mattresses to our customers. Instead, we chose to have mattresses which will last 10-12 years, made with USA labor.

All we ask is that you stop by and try our mattresses when you are in the market for a new mattress. Many customers do and end up coming back because of the value and service.
