We suggest increasing the life of your mattress with a water resistant or waterproof mattress protector. Both options can be found in our Mattress Protector Collection. These protectors are breathable, moisture wicking and protect your mattress from numerous issues.

Protection from what exactly? Liquids, dust mites and common allergens, to name a few.

 

While it's not required, it's highly advisable. A protector will keep moisture and dead skin cells out of the mattress and give you something to launder. This will keep the bed dust mite free.

 

Any mattress, not just latex, will be dust mite resistant and mold resistant if kept dry. A good waterproof, breathable protector will ensure a longer life of the bed and prevent dust mites from accumulating or being attracted to the bed. Same with mold, if kept dry, the mattress will not grow mold.
