A little bird told us you live near a Nest Bedding showroom.

There are no chemical fire barrier on Nest Bedding mattresses. 

Nest Bedding mattresses do not contain any flame retardant chemicals. We use Hydrated Silica for our fire barrier, which encompasses the entire mattress. The barrier fabric is woven with inert silica, a naturally occurring element, which also happens to be an active ingredient in toothpaste. In the event of a fire, this barrier melts onto itself and suffocates the oxygen needed for fire to burn.

What do you use to make your beds pass fire laws?
The government requires all mattresses to pass an open flame test; they don't require companies to use chemicals. Some companies use chemicals because it's cheap. We use a Hydrated Silica Fire Barrier in our Nest Bedding beds and wool in our latex beds. Both materials are non-chemical and naturally occurring.
