USA Assembled

Mattresses identified on their product pages as U.S.-assembled undergo their principal assembly at our U.S. factory using domestic and imported components. Construction, materials, and certification coverage vary by model.

Select qualifying mattresses use zippered designs with replaceable comfort layers. When purchased with the Lifetime Renewal Exchange, this construction can renew the mattress feel while keeping the existing support core and other usable components in service.

Historical Fairtrade Sourcing

Certain products remaining in our inventory were supplied by TCT Linens while the company held documented permission to trade Fairtrade cotton between September 18, 2020 and January 18, 2022. Nest Bedding has not purchased additional inventory from this supplier since 2021.

CertiPUR-US®

Products identified as containing CertiPUR-US® certified foam use flexible polyurethane foam tested by independent, accredited laboratories against the program’s standards for content, emissions, and durability. CertiPUR-US certifies the flexible polyurethane foam rather than the finished mattress, pillow, company, or entire product line.

Certified foam is made without formaldehyde, ozone depleters, mercury, lead, other heavy metals, or phthalates regulated by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. It is also screened for relevant chemicals identified by the program and meets a low-VOC emissions limit of less than 0.5 parts per million. View the CertiPUR-US® certificate here.

Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®)

Certain bamboo-derived products remaining in our inventory contain materials purchased from Hebei Jigao Chemical Fibre Co., Ltd. during its FSC® chain-of-custody certification period, July 27, 2021 through June 1, 2024. This historical claim applies only to inventory supported by supplier invoices or shipping documents carrying the applicable FSC claim.

Silk Quality Standard

Selected Nest Bedding products contain 100% mulberry silk according to their current product and supplier specifications. The fiber content and construction details that apply to a particular item are listed on its product page.

Momme describes the weight of silk fabric and can help shoppers compare silk products, although it is not a complete measure of quality or durability. Products identified as using 19-momme, Grade 6A silk carry those specifications based on supplier documentation; the grade should not be interpreted as an independent industry certification or a universal “best” ranking.
