Wool naturally regulates temperature, keeping you warm in cooler months and cool in warmer months. This comforter is designed for year-round comfort in most climates. If you tend to “sleep hot,” the breathability of wool and organic cotton can help maintain a comfortable sleep temperature.
To make the wool washable, it undergoes an industry-standard process that helps prevent felting and maintain durability through repeated laundering. After this process is complete, the wool is thoroughly washed and then fully encased inside the organic cotton shell. As with other home textiles, we recommend washing the comforter before first use, following the included care instructions.
Natural wool has a mild, clean scent that comes from the lanolin present in the fiber. This scent is not chemical-based and typically fades after airing out or washing. Many customers don’t notice it at all, but if you have a very sensitive sense of smell, we recommend airing the comforter before use.
The comforter includes corner loops to help secure it inside a duvet cover, preventing shifting and keeping it evenly distributed during use. This helps maintain comfort and appearance throughout the night.
