Brooke Alexander
Owner & Chief Branding Officer
I write about mattress fit, retail guidance, customer experience, product development, and how the complete sleep setup can change the way a mattress feels.
Why my perspective matters
I joined our family business in 2014 and helped establish Nest Bedding's Southern California retail stores. I reshaped our showroom experience around informed, low-pressure guidance and later expanded my work across retail operations, product direction, brand standards, and the complete customer journey.
Since 2016, my brother, Christian, and I have worked together to design, test, and improve our mattresses, sheets, and pillows. I bring the product back to the person using it: how the surface feels, how a pillow changes alignment and comfort, how bedding affects temperature and hand feel, and how shoppers describe a problem when their sleep setup is not working.
My background includes physical therapy, massage therapy, sports therapy, and holistic medicine, including work with athletes at endurance events. That experience contributes a body-aware perspective to comfort testing without turning product guidance into clinical diagnosis or medical advice.
Firsthand work
These are the areas where my experience most directly informs our products, guidance, and published content.
Retail and customer observation
I helped build our Southern California showroom operations and learned from years of helping shoppers compare feel, support, materials, and complete sleep setups in person.
Comfort and product testing
I test mattresses, pillows, sheets, and related products with attention to surface feel, movement, temperature, body position, and real customer feedback.
Brand and customer experience
I guide how we explain product tradeoffs across retail, ecommerce, content, packaging, and post-purchase communication.
